Frequently Asked Questions We try to anticipate questions you might have about our PRODUCTS/SERVICES and provide the answers here. If you need additional information send email to info@koreaninterpreters.net
1. I am going to Korea this fall. Can I reserve a Korean interpreter to accompany me everyday? Yes. Please use the contact form, and tell us what is the purpose of your trip, how long you are staying there, how many people are traveling, and what your schedule will be roughly like. We will locate through our partners the Korean interpreter that will best suit your needs. The payment method is like when you are reserving a hotel. We will charge to your credit card, and the full amount will be refunded if you cancel it at least 24 hours beforehand. If you cancel within 24 hours before the scheduled assignment, one-day fee will be charged because the Korean interpreter could have taken another job.
2. How much do you charge for quotes? Our quotes are free and will be prepared and sent to you within 24 hours. 3. How are Korean translations priced? We charge on a per word basis depending on the language being translated, the technical nature of the document, and the deadline. Please send the free quote form, and we will be happy to send you a quote within 24 hours.
4. What is a certified translation?
Certain agencies such as INS or Medical Board require certified translation of documents, and the documents to be submitted to the court should also be certified by court certified interpreters. At KOTI, a court certified Korean interpreter will translate the document, add a cover letter that testifies that the translation is true and accurate to the best of the Korean interpreter's knowledge. Then the Director of Translation at L.A. Institute of Translation and Interpretation will stamp and seal it, and finally it is signed and stamped with a raised notary seal. 5. What is your turnaround time like? It is usually 2000 words a day, but it depends on the technicality of the document. 6. What do I do if I decide to go ahead with your company? If you have not sent us your file yet, please do so by email, fax, mail, FedEx™, or courier. When the estimated cost is under $100.00, 100% of the total fee is required before the translation begins. We accept credit cards and payment through PayPal™. When it is $100 or more, 50% is required before the translation begins, and 50% upon receipt of the translation. We also accept payments by checks, wire transfers, and cash. 7. How do I receive translation? We can send you the Korean translation in any way you prefer. We can email, mail, or fax the translated document. If you need a certified Korean translation, we can mail or FedEx it to you. | Home | About us| Certified Translation | Korean Translation | | Quality Assurance | Location | Contact Us |
